"回归"对于港澳市民是一个十分重要的日子，每年都有不同的庆典来庆祝回归纪念日。2008年刚好是在香港和澳门回归十周年之间的一年。这个第九年，是我们准备迎接一个"十周年"前的一年。这一年，到底我们要用什么样的态度去面对将要来临的第十年呢？一个城市十年的变迁，对土生土长或在澳门经历过回归，或没有经历过回归的人，其意义相信是不同的。
回归对澳门及香港人有一份特别的意义。在2008年…澳门回归十周年前的一年，作一个反思和回想，以艺术作品表达艺术家对于回归前后的文化与生活模式的表现；展览邀请香港及本地艺术家以不同的方式介入我们的日常生活，思考回归对我们的生活影响与实质的改变，以及经常挑战着人类文化的城市发展，呈现艺术家对生活与城市发展的想法。
整个活动以展览为核心并于展出前后举办座谈会及讲座，并希望与其它艺术团体共同探讨及分享对回归十年将至的体验。
"Handover" is a very important day for Hong Kong and Macau, there is a lot of different celebrations on the day of "handover". 2008 is the year between the decennial of Hong Kong and Macau. This 9th year, is the last year for us to greet the decennial. This year, what attitude we should have for meeting the 10th year? During a ten years' change, in this city, for those who was born here or those who experienced or even those who had not, has a different meaning.
Handover for Macau and Hong Kong people has a special meaning. In 2008,one year before the decennial, we are going to introspect and memorize, to express the culture and life style before and after handover. Invited artists from Hong Kong and Macau are getting between our daily life and think about the changes and affections which handover brings to us, and the development of a city which is often challenging human's culture, so as to show artist's notion of live and city development.
During the exhibition showing on, there will be the seminars and discussion panels in between. The purpose of these seminars and panels which allowing us and the other art and cultural group to deliberate and share the experience of the 10th Anniversary of 1999 Macao Handover.

以澳门及香港回归十周年前后，艺术家在大环境的变迁如何面对自己的创作为主。请与会文化人以座谈形式与艺术家探讨回归第九年，他们的创作历程有何改变及如何迎接十周年。
