This group of paintings concern life, growth and memory.
Young artist Zhang Yantao shows a dim but still recognizable painting , giving the visual effect of water dispersion. It records the resplendent moment just like a wonderful memory in our long but short life. A pretty little girl in fantasy is curious and thirsty for the external world but she also looks a little tired and perplexed in her eyes .What is the relationship between individual and the environment ,imagination and reality? What on earth is imagined in such a young heart ? This may be the question of artist Liu Feng .Live color combination ,confident and independent expression , and clean and clear image are the features of the works of artist Fang Hui .Artist Li Lei presents us a bright and beautiful image just like a child’s undisturbed dream .Young artist Zhang Zhenyu tore up an old piece of newspaper and made it a brand-new artistic works. Those broken newspaper pieces seem to tell us that no matter a historical event is grand or negligible ,it will be lost in history .But is it really gone with the wind? Is it really out of the present? In the artist’s hand, the past and the present are put together and restructured: the past affects the present ,and the present people are upgrading their understandings with the past . The past and the present are interweaved with losing boundary. They penetrate each other and interact.Zhao Yan Feng shows us the beauty and colourness of the materials found in nature. Olga Okuneva's pictures are the mixture of European school and medlterranean sounds. You can admire the elegance of her warm-hearted personality.
These paintings are addressing life and time. They are selected from the perspective of the female ,but we know that they are not just concerning the female or the male , but involving you, me and each of us .
