艺术家张天历经两年，以纸为介、光为源、色为底，潜心创作，在光阴中塑造出《蜂巢》系列装置，作品单纯细腻，个个精彩。

前言
纸和我们的生活有着无尽的关联，我们用它记录、写字、画画、抒情、宣泄、欺骗、印刷、购买、装饰、遮挡、引火、清洁、玩儿、包装、蹂躏、浪费……
在这个世界至今还有很多人有着不同程度的恋纸情结，张天就是其中之一，他把自己的时光与纸相依相伴，在夜与白天之间，创作出一个个纯粹的、唯美的、独自的蜂巢。
《蜂巢》系列的完成用了近两年时间，艺术家将自己浸埋在纸与光中，应用了南方滇西南傣族地区自制的手工皮纸为材料、北方远自内蒙古大草原的牛粪做装裱，将平面出版物、网络影像以及生活中的数码成像剪辑、拼贴、组合、再创作，日积月累，才有了本次展览呈现的这组原创的、精致的作品。

Paper plays an important role in our lives: we use it to record, write, draw, express and release our emotions, cheat, print, purchase, decorate, fend off, make fire, clean, play, pack, ravage, consume...
There are still many people around the world with a paper fetish; Zhang Tian is one of them. He spent his time with paper, his other half, day and night, creating a series of unique, pure and aesthetic beehives.
It took him close to two years to finish the series “Beehives”. The artist immersed himself completely in paper and light. He used hand-made paper produced by the Dai ethnic minority from the southern province of Yunnan as building material; to mount his artworks he used cow dung found in the remote grasslands of Inner Mongolia in northern China; and he accumulated, edited, composed and re-created graphic publications as well as network and digital images of daily life. March Art Gallery is now able to present “Beehives”, a series of original creations and fine artworks assembled by Zhang Tian over a long period of time.
